Instagram crossed the Billion downloads Cape on Google Play

The club of mobile applications have surpassed the billion facility via Google Play Store just got bigger with the arrival of Instagram.

Since its updated August 22, 2016, and as shown in the screenshot below, the Instagram application, property of Facebook, now records a number of installations between 1 billion and 5 billion.

However, it’s a little surprising that it has as many downloads as its official monthly active users number is 500 million. And here we do not talk about the number of installations via the Apple App Store.

Indeed, all those who have installed Instagram on their smartphones are not provided very regular users. Where certainly the discrepancy between the number of monthly active users and the number of unique facilities.

Still, Facebook has the largest social networks in the world today.
After the Facebook application, then WhatsApp and Messenger, Instagram is the fourth Facebook application to have crossed the symbolic billion facility.

Through therefore this figure is the performance of Facebook that managed to evolve and maintain multiple apps at this level should be welcomed.

So with 1 billion facilities (Google Play only!), Instagram becomes, according to AndroidPolice, the 19th application to have passed this milestone in the history of applications.
