Samsung Z2: the new 4G smartphone running Tizen OS at unbeatable price
Samsung Z2 The third smartphone running Tizen OS Samsung Group officially unveils the Samsung model Z2, Z3 after Samsung launched late in 2015.
The Korean giant has unveiled its third smartphone running Tizen OS, platform used for its objects and connected watches and occasionally on the smartphone, the Samsung Z2, which follows the Z3 Samsung announced in October 2015.
Positioned in lower range than its predecessor, the Samsung Z2 remains primarily for emerging markets, and provides a minimum configuration for a 4G LTE Cat 4 smartphone.
Thus we find a 4-inch display 800 x 480 pixels and a dual core processor Spreadtrum with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage memory, expandable with memory card. The smartphone also features a 5 megapixel camera module on the back and a VGA camera on the front, and a 1500 mAh battery.
On board, it’s Tizen OS 2.4 that leads the way, with a number of useful features like data compressor reducing data consumption or S Bike mode for users on two wheels and My Money Transfer, micro application -transactions.
The Samsung Z2 will be available from late August at about 60 euros, a calibrated price. If Samsung Tizen focuses its efforts on the entry level, things could soon change with a Samsung Z9 much higher in range whose history just appeared.
